Derwent Room

Transformative by nature, the Derwent Room is a light filled space that boasts views over the Derwent River and GASP. Versatile by design, the Derwent Room is a neutral, customisable space that can be tailored to suit all your event aspirations.

With free onsite parking in direct proximity to the entrance, state of the art audio-visual equipment and in-built coffee machine and bar, the Derwent Room takes your event from breakfast to dinner in style. Main Arena

At maximum capacity, the venue will accommodate 8,500 people but reduction curtaining and retractable seating makes it one of the most versatile venues in Tasmania. Whether for a dinner for 1,500 people, a sporting event for 5,000 people, or a concert for 8,000 people the Main Arena is sure to impress. Offering a variety of configuration and mode options to suit your needs, and with first-class back of house spaces, artist and athlete rooms, and breakout spaces we can deliver hospitality services and production rooms to meet the highest expectations.

The Main Arena offers a full concert size stage with end stage curtains in the venue. Offering a ceiling height of 20 metres at the highest point, a 30-tonne roof capacity and vehicle access including semi-trailers to 4.2 metres high.

Meeting Rooms

Tamar & Huon Rooms
The Tamar & Huon rooms are perfect for hosting small to medium size groups in an intimate, focussed setting. Featuring one large or two small rooms, divided with concertina doors. These two rooms offer a highly flexible layout, to create the perfect mix of filled and free spaces ideal for meetings, seminars, conferences, and training sessions.

Mersey & Franklin Rooms
The Mersey & Franklin Rooms are perfect for one-on-one training or interviews. Adjacent to the Tamar & Huon Rooms these two rooms make the perfect breakout spaces for groups of 5 or 6 people.

MyState Bank Arena boasts an array of digital broadcast software from a digital road sign, screens throughout the concourse, auditorium and corporate spaces and our digital cube in the main area.
