Help make Christmas brighter for Tasmanian children, young people and families.

MyState Bank Arena is once again inviting the Tasmanian community to get behind its annual Giving Tree initiative, bringing a little extra joy to those who need it most this Christmas.

Running from 5 November to 22 December 2026, this year's Giving Tree will support children and young people in foster and kinship care through Life Without Barriers, as well as families supported through CatholicCare Tasmania's Community Christmas Lunch.

We're inviting patrons, staff and the wider community to donate new, unwrapped gifts to help make Christmas a little brighter for children, teenagers, young people and families across Tasmania.

What can you donate?

Suggested donations include:

• Toys, books, craft and games suitable for babies, children and young people up to 17 years
• Gift cards for teenagers and young people
• Board games and activities that families and carers can enjoy together
• Self-care and pamper items to help someone feel special
• Household and family items to make everyday life a little easier
• Supermarket gift cards to help ease the financial pressure on families at Christmas

Where to drop off your donation

Gifts can be dropped off at MyState Bank Arena:

Dates: 5 November – 22 December 2026
Time: 9am – 4pm daily, or during any event at the arena.
