Our Sensory Sessions offer a calmer, more relaxed way to enjoy SHIVER, designed for guests who benefit from a low-stimulation environment.During these dedicated sessions, we reduce capacity and adjust the rink atmosphere to create a more comfortable experience. Lighting is softened, music is lowered, and overall crowd numbers are limited, helping to minimise sensory overload while still allowing everyone to enjoy the magic of skating on real ice.Whether it’s your first time on skates or you’re returning for another glide, Sensory Sessions provide a welcoming space for individuals, families, and carers to enjoy SHIVER at their own pace.

In 2026, students will skate on the very same professional ice surface used for the Ice Hockey Classic — an international Canada vs USA showcase event taking place from 2–4 July 2026. Featuring elite athletes, fast-paced gameplay and full arena production, the event will transform the Arena into a world-class ice sports venue, giving students the rare opportunity to experience authentic NHL-sized ice right here in Tasmania.
