Event Information

Everything you need to know before arriving at MyState Bank Arena for the 2026 Ice Hockey Classic. Whether you're joining us for General Admission, a VIP Experience or in a Corporate Box, you'll find all the information you need below.

MyState Bank Priority Entry* - 5:30pm

Hahn How Good Bar Opens - 5:30pm (Corporate Box Guests and VIP Guests only) 

Sky Suite Access: 5:30pm

Venue Doors Open - 6:00pm

Puck Drop - 7:00pm

Game Concludes - Approximately 9:30pm

*MyState Bank customers can access priority entry by presenting a physical or digital MyState Bank Visa Debit Card.

Before You Arrive

To help make your arrival as smooth as possible, we recommend:

• Download your tickets before leaving home.
• Add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for faster entry.
• Share tickets with members of your group before arriving.
• Arrive  early to allow time for security screening and entry.
• Dress  warmly – the Arena is cold.

Please note this event may feature flashing lights, laser effects, haze, strobe lighting and pyrotechnics which may affect guests with photo sensitivities or certain medical conditions.

Getting Here

MyState Bank Arena
601 Brooker Highway, Glenorchy

Travelling from the Eastern Shore? The easiest access is via the rear entrance from Goodwood Road.

Parking

Limited parking is available in both the front and rear Arena car parks.

Additional parking is available at:

• Elwick Racecourse (overflow parking) (not available Thursday)
• Montrose Bay Foreshore (approximately 15-minute walk via the GASP Boardwalk)
• KG5 Oval (approximately 16-minute walk)

Please note the grassed area between MyState Bank Arena and the River Derwent is not a designated parking area and vehicles parked there may be fined or towed.

Traffic controllers will be onsite before and after the event. Please follow their directions and allow extra travel time due to  increased traffic.

Taxi and rideshare pick-up and drop-off is located outside Entry 1.

Corporate Box Guests / VIP Guests: Please enter exclusively through the Hahn How Good Bar, located in the Derwent Room near Entry 3.

Corporate Box guests enjoy a premium game-day experience including:

Each guest will receive a wristband upon entering their Corporate Box which must be worn throughout the event.

Food & Beverage

Food and beverage outlets will be open throughout the event.

Please note:

• Outside food and beverages, including water bottles, are not permitted.
• MyState Bank Arena is a cashless venue.
• Contactless  card and digital payments only are accepted.
• Guests purchasing alcohol must be 18 years or over and may be asked to provide valid photo identification.

Conditions of Entry

For everyone's safety and enjoyment:

• Please familiarise yourself with the MyState Bank Arena Conditions of Entry  before arriving, including prohibited items.
• Guests who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be refused entry.
• Any guest displaying inappropriate or antisocial behaviour may be removed from the venue without refund.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

The Arena is kept cold for the ice, so we recommend bringing a warm jacket.

Is the venue cashless?

Yes. All purchases throughout the venue require contactless payment.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

No. Outside food and beverages, including water bottles, are not permitted.

Can I use my phone for my ticket?

Yes. Mobile tickets are encouraged and will speed up entry.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 30–45 minutes before doors open to allow for parking, security screening and ticket scanning.

Where can I be picked up after the game?

Taxi and rideshare services operate from the designated pick-up zone outside Entry 1.
